The Camel had a reputation as a difficult plane to fly, but when flown by qualified pilots, it was more than a match for its German rivals.  The Camel was credited with destroying more enemy aircraft than any other Allied type.  Capt. Roy Brown was flying a Camel in his famous encounter with the "Red Baron" Manfred von Richtofen.  The Rough and Ready Aviation Camel has all the good qualities of the original without being difficult to fly.

• Unique multi-layer Fuselage construction is light, stiff and has better resistance to twisting than "X" or carbon braced fuselages.
• Fuselage design insures proper component placement and allows partial concealment of the receiver, servos and battery and completely conceals the wiring and ESC.  No wires hanging loose!
• The Fuselage is pre-assembled in factory jigs to ensure accuracy.
• Custom aluminum motor mount and hardware.
• Custom formed aluminum landing gear and axle assembly for strength and good ground handling.  No flimsy gear here.  Plywood mounts and large, light weight wheels are included.
